Checkers, Chess, & Cup Stacking

Do you have what it takes to take on these kids? Students in grades 1-12 have the opportunity to participate in a checkers, chess, or cup stacking tournament where they will compete against area-wide homeschooling and private Christian school students. Cup stacking is divided into 3 skill level categories: novice, 3-6-3 stack, and cycle stack.

Geography, Spelling, & Bible

Finally, the students may participate in the Geography, Spelling, and/or Bible Bees. They will answer from a set of random questions about the topic, competing against their peers.

Mid-Winter Tournament is put on every year by HPHE.  It is one of our groups largest fundraisers.  Area schools and homeschool students are invited to participate in the various events and teachers and parents are needed to put it on.  Students grades 1-12 are invited to participate.  All members of HPHE are asked to help facilitate this event and childcare is available for parents with children Kindergarten and younger who are helping.  This event is held in February. Stephen Madgwick is the coordinator of this event.  Watch the events page for more information on when and where this event will take place.
